Beans, Pork Rind and Sausage Festival

The first edition, May 17-18, 2025

The debut of the Beans, Pork Rind and Sausage Festival animated Piazza Sante Aureli in Moricone for two days. On Saturday, May 17, the food stalls opened from 7:00 PM for dinner, serving beans with sausage or pork rind, French fries, bread, and water.

On Sunday, May 18, from 12:30 PM, the event continued with lunch: penne all'arrabbiata, beans with sausage or pork rind, fries, bread, and water, with the addition of spit-roasted meat. Musical entertainment was provided by the Melodie Romane group, while table reservations were managed directly by the volunteers.

The initiative was promoted by the Pro Loco Moricone APS in collaboration with the Associazione Giovani Moricone and supported by the municipal administration, with the aim of promoting a traditional recipe of the Roman Sabina and creating a moment of community for the village.
