BazArt 2025 at Castello Volante

The 2025 edition of BazArt took place on Saturday, December 13 (from 4:00 PM to midnight) and Sunday, December 14 (from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM) at the Castello Volante in Corigliano d'Otranto. About thirty exhibitors, including illustrators, designers, small publishing houses, and local producers, filled the manor's halls with ethical and artisanal works.

Program highlights included: Saturday at 7:00 PM, the Roots of Flavor: Biodiversity and Taste tasting with the Capiverdi company and the SeminAzioni association, and in the evening, the musical performance Walking Towards Christmas with Vania Palumbo and the Ensemble Laudarium. On Sunday, a guided tour of the exhibition Journeys in the Lands of Remorse – Images of Tarantism, the book presentation of Bite of Love: A Journey into Salento Tarantism by Luigi Chiriatti, and a closing film screening. Free entry.

• Market opening with about 30 exhibitors in the halls of Castello Volante
• 7:00 PM — «Roots of Flavor: Biodiversity and Taste», tasting of Capiverdi organic products with the SeminAzioni association
• 8:00 PM — «Walking Towards Christmas», musical performance with Vania Palumbo and Ensemble Laudarium at the San Nicola Vescovo Parish

Sunday, December 14, 2025 (11:00 AM - 10:00 PM)

• 4:00 PM — Guided tour of the exhibition «Journeys in the Lands of Remorse – Images of Tarantism»
• 5:00 PM — Presentation of the book «Bite of Love: A Journey into Salento Tarantism» by Luigi Chiriatti, with Giovanni Chiriatti, Manuel De Carlo, and Sandra Abbate
• 7:00 PM — «The Culture of Food», gastronomic tastings
• 8:45 PM — Surprise film screening
