Edition 2025 — Battiti Sicani
Battiti Sicani – Primitivo Festival was born as a cultural and territorial project conceived by Meta Sicilia in collaboration with the Municipality of Castronovo di Sicilia. Its vocation is to reconnect music, nature, and ancestral traditions in the heart of the Sicani Mountains, choosing the Santa Caterina recreational area, nestled in the woods, as its setting.
The festival aims to enhance the Palermo hinterland and its folk wisdom through experiential workshops, Mediterranean rhythms, nature excursions, and moments of conviviality, creating an event that intends to grow over time and build a community around the values of nature, music, and collective memory.
