Edition 2025 — Batraliah Fest

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, Petralia Soprana hosted a new edition of Batraliah Fest, promoted by the Municipal Youth Council. The day began at 5:00 PM with an orienteering-style treasure hunt focused on folk traditions for children and teenagers throughout the village alleys. In the evening, at 10:00 PM, Piazza Duomo hosted a free concert by Shakalab, one of Italy's most important reggae and urban collectives.

Batraliah Fest 2025: Shakalab in Piazza Duomo

The 2025 edition of Batraliah Fest took place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in Petralia Soprana, within the Madonie Park (province of Palermo). The event, promoted by the Municipal Youth Council, celebrated folk roots and the energy of contemporary music.

The program kicked off at 5:00 PM with a "folk traditions" themed treasure hunt in an orienteering style, designed to involve children and teenagers in a journey through the village's most suggestive streets and locations, exploring curiosities, ancient crafts, and symbols of the Madonie heritage. In the evening, at 10:00 PM, Piazza Duomo hosted a free concert by Shakalab: the Sicilian collective delivered a captivating live performance blending reggae, hip hop, dub, and Mediterranean influences, featuring tracks centered on themes of identity, belonging, and social redemption.
