Bataja dle Reines — Lanzo Valleys Queen Cow Fighting Finals

The 45th edition of the Bataja dle Reines held its final on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in the Trambiè area of Cantoira, with the patronage of the Piedmont Region, the Metropolitan City of Turin, and the Municipality of Cantoira. The grand final brought together the best specimens selected during the season's qualifying rounds, with seven categories competing and about one hundred Aosta Valley breed cows as the protagonists of the day.

In the premier category, the title of Queen 2025 went to Leilà, owned by Giuseppe Genotti of Cantoira, who outperformed Negra, owned by the Aimone Brothers; third and fourth place went to Killer, owned by Simone Teppa, and Samsara, owned by Roberto Geninatti Crich of Mezzenile, respectively. The event confirmed the community's strong bond with tradition and the passion of the young breeders of the Lanzo Valleys.
