Edition 2025 — Bassano Romano Carnival

In 2025, the Bassano Romano Carnival once again brought allegorical floats, masks, and music to the streets during the Sundays of Carnival and Shrove Tuesday. The community of the Viterbo village gathered around the parades and the ritual burning of Trenzio, confirming the vitality of one of the most beloved folk traditions in the Tuscia.

Bassano Romano Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Bassano Romano (Viterbo) Carnival renewed the tradition of papier-mâché allegorical floats, masked groups, and parades through the town center. Organized by the Bassano Romano Carnival Association, the event concluded with the traditional burning of Trenzio, the effigy marking the end of Carnival and the beginning of Lent.

As per tradition, the festival involved residents and visitors in a cheerful and participatory atmosphere, confirming the deep bond between the Lazio village and its Carnival.
