Edition 2025 — Basicò Carnival

The 2025 edition of the Basicò Carnival brought great joy to both young and old. The program included children's parties, dance evenings, and two float parades through the village streets. The event was organized through the synergy between the Municipality of Basicò, the Parish of San Francesco d'Assisi, the Pro Loco, and the Vivere Insieme association.

Basicò Carnival 2025

The 2025 Basicò Carnival enlivened the Nebrodi village, in the Province of Messina, with two float parades, masquerade parties for children, and dance evenings that involved the entire community. The organization was born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Basicò, the Parish of San Francesco d'Assisi, the Pro Loco, and the Vivere Insieme association.

Among the highlights, the Pro Loco's allegorical float brought the theme of peace to the square with the slogan "#lapac(h)enelmondo," proposing an ironic reflection on which path truly leads to peace, between love and economic interests. An edition that confirmed the Carnival as one of the most attended and anticipated events in the village.
