Barrea Winter Charms

2024-2025 Winter Edition

The Barrea Winter Charms festival accompanied the village through the 2024-2025 cold season, following the "Charms" project organized by the Pro Loco Vallis Regia APS with the Municipal Administration and local associations. Between December and February, the historic center of Barrea, in the heart of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, hosted the usual calendar of Christmas initiatives: markets and tastings of local products, the nativity scene, the arrival of Santa Claus and the Befana, concerts, bingo nights, and the traditional Feast of Saint Anthony the Abbot with the blessing of the fire. An edition that reaffirmed Barrea's vocation as a destination for slow and authentic tourism even in winter, amidst the atmosphere of the village and the snow of the Abruzzo mountains.
