Edition 2025 — Barletta Patronal Festival

The 2025 edition of the Barletta Patronal Festival took place from July 7th to 16th, culminating in the weekend of July 12th-14th. In honor of Maria SS. dello Sterpeto and San Ruggero, the city experienced ten days of processions, Pontifical Masses, musical illuminations, concerts, and the traditional fireworks display from the Molo di Levante.

The 2025 edition of the Barletta Patronal Festival opened on July 7th with the recitation of the Holy Rosary and the descent of the Icon of the Madonna dello Sterpeto from the altar of the Ancient Sanctuary. On July 8th, the Sacred Icon arrived in the city with a procession and the launching of fireworks, followed by the triduum of preparation (July 9th-11th) with masses dedicated to families, youth, and peace.

The heart of the festival ignited during the weekend of July 12th-14th: Saturday the 12th with the lighting of the illuminations, the "Fantasilandia" children's entertainment, and musical illuminations; Sunday the 13th with the 11:00 AM Solemn Pontifical Mass presided over by the Archbishop, the 8:00 PM procession, the Pop Rock concert by Gadjos, and the fireworks display at the Molo di Levante at midnight; Monday the 14th with the Pontifical Mass in honor of San Ruggero and the concert by Fausto Leali in Piazza Aldo Moro. The festival concluded on July 16th with the return of the Patron Saints to the Sanctuary.
