BargaJazz – Concerts in the villages of Coreglia Antelminelli

The 2025 edition of the concerts in the villages of BargaJazz, dedicated to the memory of trumpeter Marco Tamburini, visited two hamlets of the Municipality of Coreglia Antelminelli in the province of Lucca.

On July 17th, in the Church Square in Gromignana, the AfriGarf project led by saxophonist Renzo Cristiano Telloli took the stage, featuring Tommaso Iacoviello on trumpet, Daniele Morelli on guitar, Matteo Bonti on bass, and Marco Martinelli on drums: an original proposal focused on the fusion of folk music with African and Middle Eastern rhythms. The festival then continued on August 1st in Tereglio, in the small squares of the historic centre, with a concert by the Sara Maghelli quintet. Both events, which were free to attend, were organised in collaboration between the festival, the Municipality of Coreglia, and local associations.
