Edition 2025 — Barberino in Fiore

The seventeenth edition of Barberino in Fiore was held on Saturday, May 10, and Sunday, May 11, 2025, in the medieval village of Barberino Val d'Elsa, coinciding with Mother's Day. The market exhibition dedicated to flowers, gastronomy, crafts, and art of the Chianti and Valdelsa regions transformed the streets and squares into a stage of colors and flavors, with free admission.

The 17th edition of Barberino in Fiore enlivened the village of Barberino Val d'Elsa on Saturday, May 10 (from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM) and Sunday, May 11 (from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM), coinciding with Mother's Day. Roses, flowers, and rare plants were the protagonists, accompanied by local crafts, contemporary artworks, and the fine wines of the territory.

Among the initiatives of the edition were the workshop and reading for children "Il bambino con i fiori nei capelli" at the "Alda Merini" House of Culture (from 10:30 AM, for ages 3-7) and the itinerant tour led by actor and playwright Francesco Mattonai to discover the lesser-known corners of the medieval castle, with two sessions at 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM, meeting at Piazza Mazzini.
