Edition 2025 — Bande a Sud
Bande a Sud 2025 – «Sounds between two seas»
The 13th edition of Bande a Sud was held from August 4 to 16, 2025, in Trepuzzi and the seaside hamlet of Casalabate, with the theme «traces, memory, interferences». Opening the festival on August 4th in Largo Margherita was the concert by Max Gazzè with the Calabria Orchestra.
The program alternated between singer-songwriter moments and traditional appointments: a tribute to Tito Schipa in collaboration with the Locomotive Jazz Festival at the Abbey of Santa Maria di Cerrate, the San Lorenzo Bandistico in Casalabate, the Street Band Festival with numerous itinerant bands, and traditional brass bands on August 14th and 15th for the feast of the Assumption. The grand finale on August 16th featured a symphonic tribute to Pink Floyd. All events, as per tradition, were free of charge, accompanied by the Bande a Food culinary format.
