The ninth edition (2025)

From October 17 to 19, 2025, the Albergheria district of Palermo hosted the ninth edition of the Ballarò Buskers Festival. The event brought thirteen urban spaces in the district to life—including Piazza Mediterraneo, Piazza Casa Professa, Piazza Brunaccini, Santa Maria Maggiore, the Domus Carmelitana, and the Campo dell'Oratorio di Santa Chiara—with performances of contemporary circus, aerial acrobatics, juggling, clowning, theatre, and live music.

Over 70 artists from Argentina, France, Spain, Germany, and Italy took part in the program, accompanied by free workshops for children and families. Despite the bad weather that hit Palermo, the edition attracted over 45,000 participants, a record-breaking result that confirmed the festival as a flagship event in the cultural calendar of the Municipality of Palermo and Sicily.
