Balata Market 2025 — 9th Edition

The ninth edition of the Balata Market was held from August 18 to 24, 2025, in the evocative setting of the Antica Tonnara of Marzamemi, in the municipality of Pachino (province of Syracuse). For the entire week, the market brought together artisans, designers, and creatives, transforming the loggias and spaces of the tonnara into a showcase of quality craftsmanship.

Visitors were able to discover handmade creations, design objects, illustrations, jewelry, ceramics, and local products, in an exhibition route set up primarily in the evening hours. The event confirmed the bond between the village of Marzamemi and Sicilian creative craftsmanship, contributing to the cultural and tourist life of the summer on the Pachino coast.
