Edition 2025 — Bagnone CAI Mountain Village

On November 22nd and 23rd, 2025, Bagnone officially received the recognition as a Mountain Village of the Italian Alpine Club during the first national gathering of CAI Mountain Villages, hosted in Amandola in the province of Fermo. A milestone that paved the way for the grand inaugural festival in May 2026 in the Lunigiana village.

Bagnone's recognition as a CAI Mountain Village was granted on November 22nd and 23rd, 2025, on the occasion of the first national gathering of the Italian Alpine Club's Mountain Villages, held in Amandola (Fermo). Mayor Giovanni Guastalli and CAI General Vice President Giacomo Benedetti attended the ceremony.

The label rewards mountain communities committed to restanza (the desire to stay), landscape protection, and the promotion of slow and responsible tourism. For Bagnone, a village in Lunigiana at the foot of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, this marked the recognition of long-term efforts for the territory, later celebrated with the two-day inauguration in May 2026.
