Edition 2025 — Bafia Traveling Nativity

For the 2024-2025 Christmas season, the Traveling Nativity Scene once again brought the historic center of Bafia, a hamlet of Castroreale, to life. Between St. Stephen's Day and Epiphany, the village streets were animated with costumed performers, traditional trades, burning fires, and tastings, leading up to the Nativity grotto. The highlight was the arrival of the Three Wise Men on Epiphany, with shepherds reciting ancient verses in the local tradition.

The 2024-2025 edition of the Bafia Traveling Nativity Scene confirmed the community's strong bond with this Christmas tradition. During the evenings between Christmas and Epiphany, the historic center of the Castroreale hamlet was transformed once again into a charming village-sized crib.

Along the route, visitors were able to admire scenes of ancient trades, from the barber to the embroiderers, accompanied by torches, music, and traditional foods offered by the community. The Nativity grotto served as the heart of the itinerary, while Epiphany featured the event's characteristic traveling nature with the arrival of the Three Wise Men.
