About BAClassica

BAClassica brings ten days of high-level classical music to Busto Arsizio, from Baroque to contemporary, with the common thread of 'Musical Dialogues'. Internationally renowned orchestras, soloists, chamber ensembles, and young talents take turns on the stage of the Teatro Sociale Delia Cajelli and in numerous venues across the city — historic villas, churches, and concert halls. A refined and curated festival, capable of uniting big names in world piano with experimental listening experiences and moments dedicated to new generations.

Classical music takes center stage in Busto Arsizio

BAClassica is the classical music festival of Busto Arsizio, in the province of Varese, organized by the G. Rossini Music Association ETS. For about ten days, the Lombard city becomes a widespread stage: from the Teatro Sociale Delia Cajelli to historic villas, from churches to concert halls, the event offers a musical journey ranging from Baroque to contemporary music.

Musical Dialogues

The subtitle 'Musical Dialogues' reflects the spirit of the festival: to create dialogue between eras, styles, instruments, and generations. Alongside major orchestral concerts and solo recitals, BAClassica offers experimental listening experiences, guided tours, and a 'Young Talents' section dedicated to emerging musicians, resulting from collaboration with conservatories and musical institutions such as the Cantelli Conservatory of Novara and the Verdi Conservatory of Milan.

Great International Performers

Over time, the festival has hosted world-class performers, particularly in piano: from Iranian pianist Ramin Bahrami to the Franco-Canadian Louis Lortie, as well as prestigious orchestras and chamber ensembles. A program that makes BAClassica a reference point for lovers of cultured music in the Alto Milanese area and Lombardy.

A Widespread Festival

The choice to distribute concerts in numerous city venues enhances Busto Arsizio's architectural heritage and brings classical music closer to the public in evocative settings, creating a bridge between musical excellence and the city's cultural identity.
