Baccanale of Barga

The 2025 edition of the Baccanale of Barga was a great success: Piazzale del Fosso and the Castle were filled with a costumed crowd that partied until late at night, enjoying drinks at the Gatti Randagi stalls and disco music. The festival, promoted by the Municipality of Barga together with the Pro Loco and the Gatti Randagi, confirmed the strong appeal of the Barga Carnival.

The traditional costume contest awarded the most successful outfits. Among the individuals, Patrizio Balducci (Minion) won, followed by the princess from Frozen and Giulia Marcucci (the evil witch from Snow White). Among the groups, the Ristorante Altana triumphed with a Disney-themed interpretation, ahead of the "speed camera" duo and the "Gin and Tonic" couple.
