Edition 2025 — CarnevalDarsena

The 2025 edition of the Baccanale del CarnevalDarsena was held from February 28 to March 4, 2025, on Via Coppino in Viareggio. Five evenings of festivities under the aegis of the Octopus, opened by a grand parade of 33 masked groups with about 1,500 participants, including foreign crews from ships moored in the port, and animated by music, dancing, and the essential seafood kitchens.

The Baccanale del CarnevalDarsena 2025 took place from February 28 to March 4 in the Darsena district of Viareggio, Tuscany. The inaugural Friday evening featured an opening parade with 33 masked groups and about 1,500 participants along Via Coppino, accompanied by choirs and original songs. On Saturday, the famous "long Saturday of the Darsena" brought together the BaccanalPranzo, the Carnevalpolpettino for families, and the new "Burlapranzo" at the Palapolpo, with music and dancing until 1:00 AM. The following days offered dinners, awards ceremonies for photography and mask competitions, and the grand finale on Shrove Tuesday. As per tradition, admission was free and kitchens were active from 7:00 PM.
