Azioni in Danza 2025 — 12th Edition

The twelfth edition of Azioni in Danza took place in Barletta, at the Church of Sant'Antonio, from May 6 to 18, 2025, exploring the theme 'Ritual – Connection and Solitude': an invitation to reflect on the relationship between human connections, physicality, and the digital world through the symbolic language of the moving body.

The program, promoted by the Municipality of Barletta with Puglia Culture and the KRASS Association, brought together 14 performances, 2 lectures, 2 workshops (one for intermediate/advanced dance students and one for amateurs, led by Olimpia Fortuni), 2 special events, and a youth theater offering at the festival's conclusion, involving a total of 13 dance companies and 33 artists. Highlights included Michela Laporta's lecture on the intersection of visual arts and dance (May 8) and Francesca Beatrice Vista's lecture on the history of contemporary dance (May 14).
