Avezzano Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition, organized by Avezzano Bimbi, opened on Sunday, March 2: due to uncertain weather conditions, the initiatives initially planned for Piazza Risorgimento were moved indoors to the Vivenza school sports hall, with a continuous day from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

The program included games and baby dance, traditional games, a face-painting workshop, carnival masks, flash mobs, street artist performances with jugglers and stilt walkers, and awards for masks in categories such as "most beautiful group," "DIY costume," and "funniest mask," with a grand finale of confetti. The festival was repeated on Tuesday, March 4, for Shrove Tuesday, in Piazza Risorgimento from the afternoon until evening, confirming the community vocation of the event in the Municipality of Avezzano, in Abruzzo.
