Edition 2025 — Avetrana Carnival

The 2025 Avetrana Carnival took place on Sunday, March 2, and Tuesday, March 4, with parades of masks and allegorical floats through the streets of Avetrana. Music, DJ sets, and themed evenings enlivened the town, showcasing the carefreeness, creativity, and social spirit of the Salento carnival tradition.

Avetrana Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Avetrana Carnival was held on March 2 and 4. Both days began at 3:00 PM with parades of masks and allegorical floats, including those from the groups Senza na lira and Terapia.

On March 2, the procession started from Piazza Unicef and arrived at Piazza Vittorio Veneto, animated by DJ Ennio Ciotta and, in the evening, by the Castello in maschera event with the band 90 Gradi near the Torrione. On March 4, the parade followed the reverse route, with music by DJs Maiko, Sensi Smoka, and Oscar. A festival dedicated to creativity, music, and community participation.
