Edition 2025 — Aliminusa August Festivals
The 2025 Edition
In 2025, the village of Aliminusa, in the province of Palermo, once again experienced its three days of celebration in the third week of August. The calendar alternated religious rites - masses and processions of the statues of San Calogero (August 22nd), Maria SS del Rosario (August 23rd), and Santa Rosalia (August 24th) - with secular manifestations of Sicilian tradition: the diana at dawn, the pentolaccia, tug-of-war, the ntinna, concerts in the square, and fireworks to close each evening.
The 2025 edition was recognized and supported by the Sicilian Region as part of its annual program for the promotion of folk festivals, confirming the identity and cultural value of this event for the Aliminusa community.
