Edition 2025 — Plan de Corones World Cup
The 2025 giant slalom goes to Alice Robinson
The race on January 21, 2025, on the Erta slope of Plan de Corones, above San Vigilio di Marebbe, was one of the most thrilling in recent years. After setting the fastest time in the first run, Federica Brignone made a mistake in the second and went out of the race, leaving the way clear for the comeback of New Zealander Alice Robinson, who finished in 1'55"28.
On the podium, behind Robinson, were the Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami (+0"56) and the American Paula Moltzan (+0"94). Among the Italian skiers, Lara Della Mea put in an excellent performance, finishing eleventh after a great recovery. Once again, the Erta confirmed its reputation as a selective wall, capable of overturning predictions between the first and second runs in the South Tyrolean setting of the Province of Bolzano.
