Atri Ferragosto Festival

The 2025 edition of the Atri Ferragosto Festival took place in Atri (Teramo) from August 14 to 17, confirming itself as one of the most anticipated summer events in Abruzzo. The calendar opened on August 14th with the traditional Cattle Fair in the San Domenico district, active daily from the morning, culminating on August 15th with the 50th edition of the ox-drawn cart parade.

The afternoon of August 14th saw the Historical Pageant cross the center at 5:30 PM, followed by the opening of the Holy Door of the Co-Cathedral Basilica at 6:30 PM, in the spirit of the Celestinian Forgiveness. The Fondaci Aperti brought together over 30 artisan exhibitors, 7 food stalls, 16 musical events, and an area dedicated to children, active every day from the late afternoon. The evenings were enlivened by the 'Incontri Corali Adriatici', a folk festival dedicated to traditional singing.
