The year of consecration

In 2025, the Thursday night appointment at the Ponte Lungo skate park achieved a continuity and participation that made Ateneo one of the most cited freestyle entities in Rome. The formula remained unchanged from its 2023 beginnings: on-site registration, selection, elimination tournaments with 40-second solos and 2-minute rumbles.

The local press dedicated space to the phenomenon, recounting how a graffiti-covered skate park had become an urban stage capable of attracting hundreds of kids every week, in a context claimed to be safe and open to women as well.

The same space also hosted the Urban Vibes Block Parties, days built together with other Roman associations, featuring graffiti, breakdance, bike polo, beatbox, and rap live shows. The last event of the series was held on November 8, 2025.
