Assunta Patronal Festival

The 2025 edition of the Assunta Patronal Festival in Bussoleno was held from August 13th to 15th, bringing back the ballo a palchetto (traditional wooden dance floor) and a series of initiatives designed for all ages.

Among the offerings: daily popular games in the square (from the "Weigh the wheelbarrow" challenge to guessing contests involving salami and jars of pasta), panoramic tours with vintage taxis from the Motor vej dla Valsusa association departing from Castello Borello, guided tours of the Mulino Varesio, the "Traveling through the pages" literary review, and a prize draw with local merchants.

The highlight arrived on August 15th with the procession of the Madonna Assunta along a renewed route (via Walter Fontan and via Traforo) and the customary fireworks display to close the festival.
