Assoro, Leonforte and Nissoria Traveling Carnival

In 2025, the Assoro Carnival, in the province of Enna, took place according to local tradition, with masked parades and celebrations concentrated in the village's historic center and Piazza Umberto I. In those years, the Carnival celebrations of Assoro, Leonforte, and Nissoria were organized separately by each municipality, each with its own masked groups, confetti, and entertainment moments for the little ones. The positive experience of these editions and the desire to join forces pushed the three administrations to give life, in 2026, to the first traveling Shared Carnival, marking a turning point in the Carnival tradition of central Sicily.
