Edition 2025 — Asparagus of the Woods Festival

In 2025, the Asparagus of the Woods Festival once again enlivened Pietrafitta (Piegaro) with its traditional spring celebration dedicated to wild asparagus. At the Pro Loco's food stands, wild asparagus was served in typical and revisited dishes, accompanied by local products, conviviality, and musical entertainment, in one of the most cherished festivals of the Umbrian calendar.

In 2025, the Festival of Asparagus of the Woods and Local Products renewed its spring tradition in Pietrafitta, a hamlet of Piegaro in the province of Perugia. The wild asparagus from the woods was the star of the food stands, presented in numerous typical regional recipes.

Organized by the Pro Loco Pietrafitta, the festival combined traditional cuisine, local products, conviviality, and musical entertainment, confirming itself as an anticipated event of the Umbrian spring.
