Edition 2025 — Contrade Market

In 2025, the Contrade Market once again enlivened Asciano on Republic Day, coinciding with the passage of the Treno Natura. An artisan market, local products, food stalls, music, and cultural initiatives attracted visitors to the historic center of the Crete Senesi village.

The 2025 edition of the Asciano Contrade Market, organized by the Associazione Contrade di Asciano, took place on Republic Day in the historic center of the municipality of Asciano, in the province of Siena.

As per tradition, the day combined an artisan and local products market, food stalls with local specialties, cultural initiatives, and music, coinciding with the arrival of the Treno Natura, the historic steam train that traverses the landscape of the Crete Senesi. An event that every year highlights the identity of the Asciano contrade and the charm of one of the most characteristic villages in Tuscany.
