Asciano Carnival 2025 — The 50th Edition

For its 50th edition, the Asciano Carnival (SI) brought the Crete Senesi village to life over three Sundays. On February 16, the festival kicked off with the Meio Train at 11:00 AM and a grand afternoon parade with the cartoon cover band Miwa e i Suoi Componenti and the roving animation Cromosauro.

On February 23, the Street Band Smilf and the Magic Traveler, a master of giant bubbles, took the stage, while on March 2, the final parade featured the Magicaboola Brass Band, with its funk and jazz rhythms, and Letizia Cosplay. The final day concluded with the awards ceremony for the Best Mask and Best Costumed Group at 6:00 PM, followed at 6:30 PM by the reading of the Testament of Meio and the burning of the effigy.
