Edition 2025 — Artistic Nativity Scenes Sinagra
The 5th edition of the Artistic Nativity Scene Exhibition in Sinagra (ME) was inaugurated on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Palazzo Salleo, organized by the Pro Loco together with the Municipality and the San Michele Arcangelo Parish. The exhibition remained open for free visits until January 11, 2026, every day from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with closures on Christmas and New Year's Day.
The exhibition gathered over 100 nativity scenes signed by more than 80 authors, including artisans, artists, schools, and families, many coming from outside the region. Among the iconic works, the nativity scene by Maria and Giuseppe Saitta that reproduces Sinagra in a natural cave. On January 11, 2026, at 4:00 PM, the closing ceremony took place with the awarding of the 13th edition of the "Most Original Nativity Scene" competition: first place ex aequo for Rosamaria and Umberto Mercadante and for Mela and Francesco Scafidi, in addition to the awards for the children's category.
