Three days of contemporary art spread across museums, galleries, and theaters in Verona
Artinrete is the contemporary art festival of Verona born from the idea of networking: museums, galleries, theaters, and independent spaces coordinate to offer, in a few days, a widespread program that crosses the entire city. Promoted by ArtiVer, the network supported by the Municipality of Verona, the festival transforms the historic center and neighborhoods into a large cultural map.
The program intertwines exhibitions, audiovisual and musical performances, meetings with artists, talks, screenings, workshops, guided tours, and evening concerts. A structured offering that brings historical city spaces into dialogue with contemporary languages, valuing both major institutions and more experimental realities.
The festival venues are distributed between the Old City, the university district of Veronetta, and the ZAI area. Among the venues involved are Palazzo Forti and the Achille Forti Gallery of Modern Art, the Scavi Scaligeri International Center of Photography, Palazzo Maffei, the Ristori Theater, and private galleries in the city. A journey that invites you to rediscover Verona, in the province of Verona (Veneto Region), through the lens of contemporary art.
From May 1st to 3rd, 2026, Artinrete brings three days of widespread contemporary art to Verona. The festival, promoted by ArtiVer with the Municipality of Verona, involves the city's museums, galleries, and theaters in a program that combines exhibitions, audiovisual performances, meetings, workshops, and evening concerts.
The festival venues are mainly located in the historic center of Verona, reachable on foot from Verona Porta Nuova station or by public transport. Many spaces are concentrated in the Old City.
Numerous events are free to enter; for exhibitions and guided tours, consult the program on the Verona Municipality website.
