Edition 2025 — Art Nouveau Week Penne
2025 Edition
The seventh edition of Art Nouveau Week, promoted by the Italia Liberty Association and curated by Andrea Speziali, took place from July 8 to 14, 2025, with the theme of the Butterfly, an emblem of transformation. In Abruzzo, the program touched Pescara, Sulmona, L'Aquila, Teramo, and Giulianova, with guided tours and lectures dedicated to the regional Art Nouveau heritage.
The city of Penne did not yet feature among the Abruzzo stops in 2025: Penne's entry into the Art Nouveau Week circuit took place with the 2026 edition, which expanded the Abruzzo network to nine cities, also enhancing the discreet and widespread Art Nouveau of the hinterland centers.
