Edition 2025 — Santa Margherita Arrosticini Festival
29th Arrosticini and Pecorino Cheese Festival
The 2025 edition of the festival was held from August 16 to 21 in the square of the Church of Santa Margherita di Atri, in the province of Teramo. Organized by the local ACLI Circle, the twenty-ninth edition confirmed the formula that made the event famous: arrosticini of lamb and liver cooked over charcoal and Atri pecorino served in different stages of aging.
At the food stalls, visitors were also able to enjoy fried cheese, pallotte cacio e uova, fresh pasta with garden ragù, sweet and savory fritters, and French fries. Six evenings of celebration, good food, and village conviviality that enlivened the Teramo hilly hinterland in the heart of the Abruzzo summer.
