Arene di Roma Summer 2025

The 2025 edition of the Roman Summer umbrella program brought about fifty open-air cinema arenas to the capital's neighborhoods, with evening screenings running until September 21st, mostly free of charge.

Among the main events, Casa del Cinema moved its screenings to the large arena in the Villa Borghese Park from June 9th to September 7th; Parco degli Acquedotti hosted the fourth edition of Roma Cinema Arena from June 26th to July 24th, an open-air theater with about a thousand seats; Cinema alle Mura was spread across the Parco delle Mura Aureliane, the Giardini di via Sannio, and the Tricicli park in Romanina; CineVillage Villa Lazzaroni in Municipality VII offered over seventy evenings until September 15th, while Arena Garbatella scheduled Italian, European, and international films every day at 9:15 PM until September 14th. The program also reached Corviale, Tor Bella Monaca, Santa Maria della Pietà, and the Idroscalo in Ostia, confirming the widespread reach of the initiative.
