Edition 2025 — Arena 11

The first edition of Arena 11 – Cinema and Community took place from September 1st to 7th, 2025, at Parco Tevere Marconi, in Rome's XI Municipality. Seven evenings with free admission, featuring one film per day and a central theme: labor. The selection brought Italian cinema into dialogue with works from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Albania, Bangladesh, and Senegal, accompanied by two in-depth talks.

First edition, September 2025

Seven evenings, seven films, one theme: labor and its consequences — exploitation, unemployment, environmental destruction, inequality, migration. A thread chosen in dialogue with the industrial history of the Marconi neighborhood.

The screenings were held in the evening, between 8:00 PM and 11:30 PM, with free admission and about 150 seats available without reservation. The festival was promoted by Roma Capitale – Department of Culture as part of Roma Creativa 365, with Zètema Progetto Cultura, and curated by Cultural Pro APS.
