Edition 2025 — AreaDanza
The 2025 edition of AreaDanza Urban Dance Festival brought contemporary dance to the urban spaces of Udine and Venzone, featuring flying dancers, world premieres, and guest companies, as part of the summer programme curated by Compagnia Arearea.
In 2025, AreaDanza Urban Dance Festival once again animated the Friulian summer, bringing contemporary dance out of theatres and into the urban spaces of Udine, with incursions into the medieval village of Venzone. Organised by Compagnia Arearea, the festival presented aerial dance performances, world premieres, guest companies from the national scene, and productions by young dancers from the Advanced Training course, confirming the distributed and free or low-cost format that characterises the festival.
