Appignano's fashion on the catwalk under the stars

The Appignano Fashion Show is the evening that ignites the historic center of Appignano, a small town in the province of Macerata, in the Marche region, every early summer. For one evening, Piazza Umberto I transforms into a true open-air catwalk, a "catwalk under the stars" that tells the story of the town through its artisanal and commercial excellences. The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Appignano together with the Municipality, with artistic direction by Paolo Trillini.

Local excellences

The heart of the event is the fashion shows of local brands and businesses, which present their summer collections in preview. Leading the way is Paoloni Manifatture, a historic and renowned fashion company from Appignano, joined by a selection of shops and boutiques in the town such as Emme Abbigliamento, La Bottega di Fabiola, L'Angolo del Corredo, Sabina e Gloria, Laboratorio La Tela, and HD Atelier Sposi. There is also space for young local creatives, with creations by Appignano fashion designer Michele Piatanesi.

Not just fashion shows

The Appignano Fashion Show is much more than a simple fashion review: it's a community celebration. On the catwalk, alongside professional models, children and young people from the town walk the runway, becoming stars for a night. The evening is enhanced by performances by dancers from ASD Mirror Sport Club directed by Federica Baldi, who bring rhythm and spectacle to the square.

The Venus Talent Show Tour

One of the most anticipated moments is dedicated to young talents: the evening hosts selections for the international competition Venus Talent Show Tour, one of the main launchpads for those who want to emerge in the fields of fashion, music, dance, and entertainment. Those selected in Appignano gain access to the national finals of the competition.

As Mayor Mariano Calamita emphasized, the Appignano Fashion Show is "a moment when our town tells its story" through its excellences and its ability to build community. A glamorous yet authentic event, capable of uniting fashion, creativity, and local identity in one of the most beautiful squares in the Macerata hinterland.
