Appia Food Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Mary Help of Christians with the Appia Food Festival was held in Brindisi from May 10 to 24, in the courtyard of the Salesian Oratory on the Appian Way. The calendar opened on May 10 with the photo exhibition "90 Years of Salesian Presence in Brindisi" and, on May 11, with Holy Mass presided over by Bishop Giovanni Intini.

From May 21 to 23, the triduum of prayer to Mary Help of Christians took place. On May 23, the Porchetta Festival kicked off with the opening of food stalls and live music, followed by the Appia Music Festival, a singing competition for young Apulian artists, and a DJ set with Italian music and 70s, 80s, and 90s disco. On May 24, the solemn mass and the procession through the parish streets preceded the closing evening, with stalls, musical entertainment, and a fireworks display. Featured flavors included: porchetta, pettole, mozzarella, dairy products, craft beer, and Apulian wines.
