Appennino Festival 2025: the debut in Palmiano

The 16th edition of the Appennino Festival, scheduled from May 4 to October 12, 2025, with 27 events in 28 municipalities across four regions, kicked off right in Palmiano, in the Province of Ascoli Piceno. The opening day on May 4, 2025, featured a 6.61 km circular hike (difficulty E, duration approx. 3.5 hours) to discover the treasures of the Piceno area, including the planting of the Sibillini Potato and a visit to a truffle ground where experts demonstrated black truffle digging.

After lunch by the local cooperative in the square (15 euros), the afternoon concluded at 3:00 PM with a concert by the BandAdriatica, capable of blending Salento rhythms with Mediterranean sounds. The event, free with booking, confirmed Palmiano as the symbolic gateway to a review created to revitalize the villages of the Marche Apennines.
