Cortino at the 2025 Appennino Festival
In 2025, the Appennino Festival also involved the municipality of Cortino, in the province of Teramo, among the 28 partner municipalities of the series. The edition, which took place from May 4 to October 12, 2025, with 27 appointments in the four regions of the central Apennines affected by the 2016 earthquake, confirmed the formula that combines guided hikes, cultural moments, food and wine, and live music.
The heart of the event remains the voluntary nature and the participation of the communities of the Laga Mountains district, of which Cortino is a part, in a path of experiential and accessible tourism in the inland areas of Abruzzo.
