Edition 2025 — ABT Festival Pontassieve

In 2025, the first edition of the Appennino Bike Tour Festival took place, held every weekend in a different Apennine municipality, one for each of the 14 regions crossed by the cycle route. A month of eco-friendly bike rides, forums on sustainable development, children's areas, gastronomy, and music that involved over 2,000 participants.

The first edition of the Appennino Bike Tour Festival was held from June 20 to July 20, 2025, visiting 14 municipalities in 14 regions along the Apennine ridge. Promoted by Vivi Appennino with the Italian Cycling Federation, the festival offered eco-friendly bike rides at each stage, areas dedicated to children learning to ride, meetings, and the Regional Forum on the sustainable development of the Apennines, as well as food stalls and music.

The results of the first edition recorded over 300 km traveled by bike, 42 villages, castles, and symbolic sites visited, more than 2,000 participants, and over 150 speakers involved in the forums, laying the groundwork for the 2026 edition that brought the event to Pontassieve.
