Edition 2025 — Appennino Bike Tour Festival
The first 2025 edition of the Appennino Bike Tour Festival brought the great traveling journey of sustainable mobility to fourteen municipalities, one for each region crossed by the Apennine ridge. In Sicily, the 2025 stage was hosted by San Marco d'Alunzio (ME), while Roccafiorita enters the route only with the 2026 edition as the final arrival point.
The balance of the first edition was highly positive: over 2,000 participants including cycle tourists, citizens, and institutions, approximately 300 km covered during eco-friendly bike rides, 42 villages, castles, and symbolic places featured, and more than 150 speakers involved in the Regional Forums on Sustainable Development. The success paved the way for a multi-year programming of the Festival.
