Appassionata 2025: between great masters and new talents

The 2025 season of Appassionata took place in Macerata from January 16 to December 8, intertwining tradition and innovation throughout a broad program. The inaugural concert featured pianist Francesco Libetta with the project "Lighting Bosso," a dialogue between the music of Ezio Bosso and the great composers of the past.

Among the most significant events were the performance of Mozart's Requiem with the Marche Philharmonic Orchestra (April 10), cellist Giovanni Gnocchi, and, at the finale on December 8, Monteverdi's Vespers of the Blessed Virgin with the ensemble Vox Poetica. The "Art of the Quartet" series ran throughout the season with ensembles such as the Škampa Quartet, the Klimt Quartet, and the Guitalian Quartet, confirming the prestige of the festival in the musical landscape of the Marche region.
