AperiTrail Cartignano

The roots of AperiTrail: Cartignano in 2025

Before becoming AperiTrail, the spirit of this evening was built throughout 2025, when Cartignano and the other villages of the lower Valle Maira launched the programme of initiatives for the Borghi ritrovati project, funded by PNRR resources.

Throughout the year, the village in the province of Cuneo offered guided hiking tours, activities dedicated to nature and the environment, and convivial moments enlivened by the Pro Loco of Cartignano, with the goal of bringing life back to the trails and squares of the town.

From this work of territorial rediscovery, the idea was born to combine mountain running with the conviviality of the table: a simple and inclusive format that found its first dedicated evening in 2026.
