Antiqua in Monteu da Po

The thirtieth edition of Antiqua, the early music festival promoted by the Accademia del Ricercare under the artistic direction of Pietro Busca, enlivened numerous locations between Piedmont and Liguria in 2025 with a rich program of concerts dedicated to the medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque repertoire.

Performed on original instruments and according to historical performance practice, the events involved ensembles specialized in the international early music scene, bringing great classical music even to the small towns of the Metropolitan City of Turin. The festival, with free admission for most of its stages, confirmed its vocation for widespread cultural dissemination throughout the Piedmontese territory, of which Monteu da Po and the hilly villages along the Po are an integral part.
