The Festa dell'Annunziata di Piccianello is a religious event of long tradition in the Piccianello district of Matera, dedicated to Maria Santissima Annunziata. The usual schedule for the day includes morning masses, the afternoon solemn mass, the procession with the sacred image accompanied by the Complesso Bandistico Città di Matera, and the concluding fireworks at the Fabbrica del Carro.
