Anniversary of the Battle of Magenta — Historical Re-enactment

On Sunday, June 8, 2025, the celebrations for the 166th anniversary of the Battle of Magenta took place. The city relived the events of June 4, 1859, with the historical re-enactment, the parade in Risorgimento costume, and institutional ceremonies. As every year, the anniversary opened the Magentino June, the calendar of cultural initiatives that accompanies the month, with the involvement of schools in the Children's June and openings of the Battle Museum. The day confirmed the strong bond of the Magenta community, in the Province of Milan, with its Risorgimento memory.
