Edition 2025 — Ancona Classica

The 2025 edition of Ancona Classica, with the FORM symphonic season titled "MUSICATTRAVERSO," offered an exceptionally broad program: 70 concerts in four and a half months, spread across 23 venues in Ancona and the Marche region, featuring seventeen different programs. Guests included resident artists Alexander Lonquich (piano) and Luigi Piovano (cello), and Oscar-winning composer Nicola Piovani conducting the orchestra.

The 2025 season of Ancona Classica, featuring the symphonic series "MUSICATTRAVERSO" by the FORM - Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, was one of its richest editions, with 70 concerts in just four and a half months, held in 23 venues across Ancona and the Marche region, presenting seventeen different programs.

Two artists were in residence: pianist Alexander Lonquich (Schumann and Mendelssohn in January, Mozart and Beethoven in February) and cellist Luigi Piovano, who performed an homage to Ezio Bosso in March and Mozart's Requiem in April. Special guest, Oscar-winning composer Nicola Piovani, took the podium to conduct his famous film scores. Among the international names were conductor Matthias Bamert, clarinetist Fabrizio Meloni, and oboist Albrecht Mayer.

The program, supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Marche Region, and partner municipalities, included the New Year's Concert celebrating the 200th anniversary of Johann Strauss and a section dedicated to children and families.
